I would like to know how do you administrate regional checklists. I realized that in other regions there is stuff that I can’t see in mine, by example, the Top Resident Birder tab. Do people featured here are added automatically? And another thing…how is info added in the resource tab? Thank you guys, sorry for bothering so much. |

HEctor – this is all great feedback. 1. Regional checklists are uploaded by our staff only. Once a checklist has been uploaded for a region, new birds can be added to that checklist if that new bird is spotted by 3 different birders on the map. Birdpost has created a mechanism for dynamic regional checklists. 2. If you report birds onto the map in a given region, you will ranked in that region. Top Resident Birder means that you live in that region and have the most birds on your lifelist. Most Active Birder means you have seen the most distinct species in that region. 3. We add the information to the resources tab. Shoot us over any links that you think need to be on a region you are interested in. Keep it coming! Ben Crockett |
