What's going on with the map?
|

I’m trying to access the map for a given species and when it starts showing up it immediately reboots and shows the continental view… that is, I can see the whole world but not the particular location of the bird sighting. What’s going on? Am I doing something wrong? |

Hector – great feedback. What region are you looking at? We will try to re-create this and fix the problem… Let me know. Ben Crockett |

The region I’m looking at is Puerto Rico. Here, when I hit the map link on the “Recent Sightings for this Region” menu the page is rebooting just as the map is starting to show up. In the other hand, when I try to access the map from “My Checklist” or from my friends “Recent Sightings” everything is working perfectly. I’m also having problems finding certain species from “The Map” tab. Here, when I perform a search it isn’t showing any results, even for birds I’ve mapped. |

I double checked that last thing in my previous post ant the search feature in The Map tab is working great. My mistake. |

I’m still having problems with the PR list. This time a friend of mine mapped a few species listed for this region and they are not appearing on the “Recent Sightings for this Region” menu, even though I can see them on his recent sightings menu. The same thing is happening to me, I have some recent sightings in this region that are not appearing as recently sighted in the Regional Checklist tab. Is this automatically corrected? Everything else is neat. |
