Add multiple birds to my lifelist...?

I’m looking for a way to add more than one species at a time to my list… is it possible?

You can currently upload a list of birds in one batch using the “Upload a Lifelist” button on the MyBirds page. Any lists being uploaded need to have the bird names in the left column and the date in the second column and the file needs to be in a CSV format.

Beyond that, we will shortly be implementing a feature on the “Add Bird” button that is a “Multiple Add” feature where you can enter additional rows and add more than one bird at a time.

Would it be possible to have a check box enabled list similar to e-bird? IE all species were listed in alphabetical or taxonimic order with an open check box that you could click to add multiple species at once?
Great work on the site to date, I’m really looking forward to the final outcome it has so much potential!

Joshua – this is really great feedback. We are currently working on several ways to report many birds at once and the idea listed above is one being considered. The drawback of reporting many birds at once is how to include more details for each individual sighting. Keep your feedback coming!
