Useful Feature???

When searching through birds one might forget if he/she has added a bird. It would be useful if when logged in to Birdpost, it told you on a specific bird’s page it told you it was already on your list.

Doesn’t the ‘My Birds” list do this, or do you mean something different?

No, what I’m suggesting is different. Let’s say I’m old and don’t have a great memory or I’ve seen over 1000 birds. One might not remember every bird they’ve seen. When I type in a specific bird like, Horned Lark, I would like to see a notification on that individual birds page that it’s already on my list, on my “My Birds” page and I don’t need to add it again.
