Chicks/Nestlings

Tis the season for nestlings and it made me think a great feature when reporting birds would be an option to check if the bird was with chicks or young birds. This might get complicated when thinking about immature birds vs. hatchlings. Gulls stay immature for multiple years for example. However I’m thinking more along the lines of baby ducks or immature bluebirds, all things I’ve seen lately.

It may also set a nice stage for future scientific research for breeding, nesting or where young are being reported.

It would also be nice personally for my own recollection of where I have seen young birds, especially if frequenting the same places year to year.
